Conyers' Comedic Candor

Only three years back in the congressional saddle, and Democrats are as imperiously complacent as it took them four decades to become by 1994:

Y'know, fifteen years ago hard left filth like "that J.C. guy" tried to shove a government takeover of health care (most prominently, amongst a host of other dishonest, jackbooted, profligate outrages) down the throats of an American populace that didn't want it.  Not only was it defeated, but so were the Democrats in the 1994 mid-terms, and they were about the only people in the country that didn't see it coming.

As 77-year-old Biff Tannen will remark six years from now, "There's something very familiar about all this."  And John Conyers' authoritarian chortling, caught on tape and gone viral, ensures that he will be one of the poster children for history's repetition.
