President Obama made clear last week that Michelle and his daughters would be exempt from any new health care plan passed by Congress, just as members of
Congress are exempt from the plans they make for the rest of us.
President Obama is holding screened “townhalls” where union members get to ask questions – the same union members Max Baucus wants to exempt from a new health benefits tax on everyone else.
They’re trying to push health legislation through just like they did the “stimulus” – Will members of Congress even take time to read it before they sign it?
WHAT ARE YOU DOING ABOUT IT?
President Obama, Ted Kennedy and Max Baucus are trying to seize control of our health care, and to pay for it they want to cut existing Medicare and Medicaid benefits by $400 Billion and raise our taxes! Their government takeover of health care will drive us deeper into debt and it won’t even help most of those they claim they want to help – the uninsured. The poor and the uninsured will still be getting a raw deal, as will the taxpayers!
The Congressional Budget Office says Kennedy’s bill would leave 34 million uninsured – yet cost at least $600 billion to increase government control of the rest of us.
