An MM Twofer

There are, all other things being equal, no more singularly vicious and hateful people on the face of the planet than militant homosexuals (okay, there's Islamist jihadists, but it's a close second). Almost as if they know in their hearts that the "lifestyle" they've chosen is an abomination and so have to rev up a self-righteousness that rapidly overheats into an ongoing maniacal aggrievedness that makes them go postal on their foes on the slightest hairtrigger reflex. Also perhaps to compensate for the effeminate stereotype of gay men.

Which oftentimes has the effect of launching them into the stratosphere without benefit of any facts to ballast their meanness overdrives. David Brock is one of the standards when it comes to lavender reckless, feckless bullying. His Media Matters site's latest salvo on the overwhelming public opposition to BarryCare is that, "this right-wing frenzy is reminiscent of Dallas 1963." Sure it is, pal; aside from JFK's assassin being a pro-Castro defector to the Soviet Union, and being (all together, now) a LONE gunman who it is awfully doubtful would have persuaded a majority of Americans to back his plan to rid the world of Ted Kennedy's older brother if he'd started a few steps lower than just blowing his head off in Dealy Plaza, why, there's all kinds of resemblance between the two phenomena. What a surprise that Eric Boehlert (for the record: sexual leanings unknown and not to be speculated on here) manages to utilize "Dallas 1963" for his smear without actually mentioning Lee Harvey Oswald.

On the other hand, maybe he genuinely doesn't know that detail. Wouldn't surprise me to find an MMer possessing that level of historical ignorance.

There's no such benefit of the doubt possible in MM's (put down your hot drinks for a moment) accusation against Fox News of [snort] "smearing" ACORN:

Another example of lib projection at work. The Left - and most especially MM's - stock-in-trade of making wildly gutteral, sensationalist charges against a political enemy that destroys their reputation so thoroughly that subsequent mitigating details are almost irrelevant has spread to Fox and Glen Beck? Oh, my God!

Well, not quite. Y'see, in their effort to put over Beck and Fox as character assassins against those sex-slavery-abetting paragons of moral virtue at ACORN, they, um, well, they left a few parts out:

Ah. So Beck DID acknowledge that the ACORN woman's husband might still be alive, and castigates the Obamedia for being too partisanly lazy to ask the questions he did, and that MM accused him of NOT asking. Or, in short, MM cherry-picked the Beck video in order to smear Beck and Fox.

Sheesh, even Wile E. Coyote's boomerangs to come back THAT fast.
