Night Shift @ ACORN (9/17/09)

A too-sweet stirring of the pot, as it were, on the O'Keefe/Giles visit to ACORN-San Diego. And this time it isn't even a woman going bugbleep:

Goodness, but THERE's a new brazen wrinkle. Tax evasion - check; concealing child sex trafficking, check; but this guy ("Juan Carlos," who just HAS to be portrayed by Cheech Marin in the inevitable motion picture about this train wreck) also wants a piece of the action for himself. You know, in order to uphold ACORN's ethic of "helping poor families" and such, which, in this case, I suppose are so dependent upon their underage daughters' prospective future "commissions". And get a load of his "trust the Mexican people" line - isn't THAT just a WONDERFUL advertisement for comprehensive immigration reform? Thank God for youtube.

I guess five dens of ACORN criminality was the threshold of panic for Democrats in the House, as an amendment to a student loans "reform" bill to terminate ACORN funding passed by a margin of 345-75.

Don't worry, Bertha, your dough will be restored in conference committee in the dead of night when nobody's looking. Have faith, my dear, have faith....
