Hey, a billious bottomflow of left wing extremist racial McCarthyite vomit wouldn't be complete without a contribution from Maxine Waters, now would it?:

The media should investigate the racial views of conservative activists like the ones who descended on Washington last weekend, one liberal congresswoman said Wednesday.

Representative Maxine Waters (D-CA) said that it’s not enough for African-Americans to levy allegations of racism against the right-leaning protesters, and that the media must look into their views.

“I want those people talked to; I want them interviewed,” Waters told the liberal Bill Press Radio show in a podcast. “I want journalists to be all over those rallies and the marches with the birthers and the teabaggers.”

“What I’m looking for is the very people who carry the signs who are referring to the policies in very, very strange ways like ‘Obamacare’ and ‘Barry Obamacare with Kennedy,’” she said. “What I’ve been interested in is hearing from those people that everybody’s referring to — everybody on the Mall, in the rally.”

I actually prefer Ed's use of the word "probe" instead of "investigate". Tends to get to the real attitudinal heart of where these filthbags are coming from.

In the same vein of "to be fair," I have to "be balanced" and mention that while Waters demands that the Obamedia go all thought-policey on "conservative activist" asses as opposed to, say, the FBI or Red Barry's "civilian national security force," there is so little daylight between where the Hussein administration ends and the Obamedia begins that there is little, if any, practical difference.

There is, however, in terms of manpower. Just how did Waters expect "journalists" to be "all over" the September 12th Uprising and its anywhere from 1.5 million to 2.3 million center-right participants? Gee, as I remember it, "journalists" were trying to ignore the gathering and downplay it as much as humanly possible precisely because it was (1) so huge and (2) so conspicuously absent the kind of kookiness and outrageous that typifies your standard left-wing organized mass protest. It was an indellible manifestation of mass public disgust with, anger at, and opposition to Barack Obama, the Donk Poliburo, fascist animals like Maxine Waters, and their Marxist-Leninist designs on occupied America.

THAT's what riles Waters the most. Libs cannot abide the idea of a legal political opposition that actually is allowed to OPPOSE them when they're in power. Dissent is patriotic only when THEY'RE on the outside looking in. When the positions are switched, they want mass protest gatherings to be busted up by any means necessary.

In this case, in lieu of the more "direct" methods employed by the Iranian mullahgarchy against its own people three months ago, she wishes "journalists" to...well, provoke riots, I guess, by getting in people's faces and shouting "RACIST!" Based on....using the shorthand "ObamaCare"? That's IT? What does Waters want us to call it? Barack's Prayer? Medical manna?

Sure, Maxine Waters is a legume, but this self-immolating madness is dominating the Democrat Party these days. They are quite literally commiting mass political suicide by treating a majority of the American public as blood enemies. Which may be why the White House, while still not doing what the Li'l President should have done from the start and forcefully and unequivocally tell his side to knock it the hell off and shut the hell up (which reveals that they have no real problem with it), is at least trying to distance itself from the racist flames. Why? Self interest, m'boy, self interest:

I’m coming around to the idea that it’s gotten so out of hand that they may now see it as a genuine liability. If the idea was to bully Americans into backing ObamaCare by implying it’s racist to do otherwise, they’ve failed epically. Worse yet for his reelection prospects, if centrist Obama voters like Ann Althouse are starting to recoil in disgust at the sort of racial demagoguery that’s forever being used by O apologists then the White House has big, big problems ahead in 2012:

Lots of people who voted for Obama believed that his election would reflect the extent to which Americans had moved beyond racism. That was part of why some people voted for him. Little did we realize that it would turn every criticism of the President into an occasion to make an accusation of racism. Racism is revolting, but so is the notion that we aren’t allowed to criticize a President!

Centrist Obama voters were noodleheaded idiots for ever believing that a hard left black man whose worldview would wither without racial tensions kept at a high, rolling boil would or could EVER be a "post-racial" president, any more than the Left could refrain from barfing racism at a volume and level of subterranean gutterality as to make Bull Connor whimper at a conservative black president. Centrist Obama voters won't be swindled a second time. Plus Lucifer needs "the scarlet R" to hold in reserve, a rhetorical WMD whose political lethality is being dissipated rapidly in what is becoming an unsalvagably lost cause.

Once the "racist" charge is spent like the "Nazi" charge was last month, what'll they have left to hiss? Won't direct, serial, organized violence be the next step?
