Death Becomes Her?

The ironically named Bobby Bright seems to want his constituents to think so:

U.S. Congressman Bobby Bright [D-AL2] was heard having a little fun at U.S. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi’s expense during his recent participation in the Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce’s Eggs and Issues.

Bright, who is is in his first year in Congress and facing a battle against Montgomery City Councilwoman Martha Roby this fall, joked that Pelosi might lose her own election, decide not to run for the speaker’s job or otherwise not be available.

He suggested, jokingly he insisted to his audience, that Pelosi could fall ill and die in coming months. That remark drew laughter from the crowd.

Though he has a reputation as the second most independent member of Congress, he has been routinely blasted for voting for Pelosi to be speaker.

Silly Bobby.  Doesn't he know nothing can kill the undead?

Leave out the usual observation of the Left/Obamedia eruption of outraged outrage if any Republican made this sort of "joke" - they'd paint us all with so broad a paintroller they couldn't even lift it collectively - and ponder instead the assumption underlying it: that conservatives want to see Nancy Pelosi - and by implication Barack Obama, Harry Reid, and ALL Democrats - D.E.A.D.  That's what Bobby Bright thinks the voters of his district want to hear.

Why go that slanderously macabre extra step, there, Bobby?  I mean, it's not like you aren't already posing as a Republican:

Why the redstate good ol' boy camouflage?  Because he made it to Congress by a single percentage point two years ago in the biggest Donk wave in forty-four years and appears to be acutely aware that the folks of Alabama's Second Congressional District have little use even for a DINO who, regardless of whatever other Obamunisms he didn't support, did cast his vote for the old hag he thinks we think it'd be such a knee-slapper if she was pushing up daisies in the near future.

Here's what we want to see, Bobby-boy:  Nancy Pelosi live to an even riper and older age, spending all the time in between enjoying her retirement far, far, FAR away from the levers of power.  Ditto Barack Obama, Harry Reid, and every other Democrat, including your Jason-Alexander-with-a-twang self.  Go work for Boss Hogg or something and let REAL Republicans set about the long, hard slog of rebuilding the country to which your zombie Shrieker and her corrupt, extremist cadre have taken a fiscal and regulatory wrecking ball.
